In January, the time spent in Finland are basically revolving around:
1. Studying
2. Cooking all 3 meals
3. Buying Groceries
Therefore, here I will be sharing more about my dishes & food XD
Breakfast
I woke up pretty early, especially in January (much earlier than Singapore for some reasons, perhaps due to the time difference). For breakfast, I usually eat bread-related stuff, else cereals. So here are some photos of my breakfast hehe
Sandwiches

Hotdog Bun
I tried putting in the oven with cheeseeee (my fav). Chanced upon vegan cheese in Finland too so I tried both versions but still like the non-vegan version oops

Pizza Bread
Tried making pizza bread for breakfast sometimes too but in January, I had only tried it with vegan cheese XD

Cereal
Sometimes I topped yogurt with some muesli for breakfast too

Pancakes
When I am feeling like cooking, sometimes, I will make pancakes from scratch. I may make more batter then store it in the fridge to use it again the next day hehe. And I love to top it with maple syrup there haha

Lunch/Dinner
My lunch or dinner depends on my mood on the day ^^ Sometimes, I feel like eating rice so I will cook veg with rice or fried rice. Else, if I may cook pasta, fried noodles, rice vermicelli, rice cakes etc during the other times.
Fried Rice
My top dish throughout my exchange was fried rice haha coz it is the easiest thing to cook and I can prep beforehand esp during the days I have school in the late morning till evening. Here are some of my olive fried rice photos, don't they look delicious XP I often paired olive fried rice with BE chilli and it was a perfect match!

Fried Udon

Fried Vermicelli
A simple bee hoon that I tried re-creating there. But I always cannot estimate the amount of water to add oops

Stir-Fried Noodles
This was another dish I sort of invented there XD Stir fried noodles with kimchi and Rice cake and added cheese at times. Love the combi!!!

There was a few times where I did this with just rice cakes alone and matched it with seaweed and it was awesome (tho the photo doesnt look that appealing) but I havent try re-creating it since I am back in SG. Maybe I should try it one day

Pasta
My first time cooking creamy pasta was in Finland!!! And it turned out nice too maybe I have some bit of talent in cooking still hehe
Topped it with some fruit salad mixed with a vegan mayo I found there. And I got to say the mayo there tasted quite different but matched fruits really well!

Still, there were times, I feel like inventing other food whereby once I tried to stir-fry pasta by itself without cream or tomato sauce but then while it looks good, it was actually a bit bland haha

Noodles Soup
Found special noodles there such as this was some spinach noodles I found in the the vegan mart XD

Knife cut noodles (刀削麵) I found in the Asian Mart XD

Stir Fried Vegetables
Flant beans, cabbage, broccoli are really common dishes I cooked there to match with rice

While these vegetables are very common, I do try to explore different ways of cooking there like how i tried adding tofu in my dishes hehe to try to improve/get a variety of the taste but yet to find the best taste.

Soups
- Seaweed Tomato Soup

- Winter Melon Soup (My fav in SG)
Managed to re-create what I love to drink at home and I would say its 70-80% similar XD I even cooked it for my roommates to try and everyone commented that it feels very homely haha

- Tomato potato carrot soup
The easiest soup to cook when I am feeling lazy

Sides
As you may already know, potato pancake was one of my favourite snacking dish to create there hehe

And we bought fries too to fry when we are feeling hungry. In the winter weather or when we are stuck at home, we tend to look for snacks easily too!

Combination
Some Photos of my combi and special sides such as the mock meat I found in super market and tom yam soup. Tom Yam is considered to be special to me there as I am always very thrift on the usage of it as I need it to last me for 5 months :P

Yup, so the above are the summary of my January meals in Finland that were prepared by myself. Hope you have enjoyed reading it haha
